Hifz for Women: Memorize the Quran from Home
Memorizing the Quran is not only for children. Many women begin Hifz as students, working professionals or mothers, and succeed by keeping a steady daily routine with a teacher who checks their memorization every lesson.
A plan that fits your life
- New portion (sabaq): a small amount each lesson, sized to your pace.
- Recent revision (sabqi): the last few days of memorization recited back.
- Older revision (manzil): rotating review so earlier surahs stay strong.
Short, consistent sessions usually work better than long, irregular ones. Because we teach 24/7, you can keep the same slot every weekday, whether that is after fajr, during a lunch break or after the children are asleep.
Where to start
Many sisters start with Juz Amma, the last part of the Quran, because its surahs are short and recited often in prayer. Your teacher will check your recitation first; if pronunciation needs work, a few Tajweed lessons alongside Hifz make memorizing easier and more accurate.
Already memorized before?
If you memorized surahs or juz in the past and have lost some, your teacher can build a revision-only plan to restore them.
Teachers and fees
Female teachers are available 24/7, and a male teacher can be arranged 24/7 if you prefer. Classes are $30 USD per month for Monday to Friday; weekends or fewer days are arranged as a custom plan with our team.
Mothers juggling family time can also read Quran classes for mothers.
Questions sisters ask
Am I too old to start Hifz?
No. Adults memorize differently from children, often with better understanding and discipline. A realistic daily portion and regular revision are what matter.
How much should I memorize per day?
Your teacher sets this after hearing you. It might be a few lines at first and grow as your routine settles.
